Harbor Media

In May of 2011 The Hingham Community Access & Media was established as an independent nonprofit corporation to manage public access in the Town of Hingham. In 2012, that initial public access was expanded to government coverage and then further expanded in 2013 to educational content. That long, unwieldy name was a bit of a mouthful, so the community began to refer to Hingham Community Access & Media simply as “HCAM”.
To better serve the South Shore communities, our name brand name changed in 2017 to "Harbor Media". The name change comes along with a direction of growth and improvement in programming for local communities. Our team is dedicated to creating programming that matters to the community, teaching media arts, and helping community members create their own shows.
